Cant join any cockpit. After loading I m just getting map display no cockpit in no module since patch ? WTF.

 

Bye the way to be honest I m getting really annoyed, since the release version is out there are much more problems than in beta. Since beta was launched with upcoming patches you guys manage to make it worse and worse, topping it all by managing it ****ing up installation to a point where I cannot join 1 single cockpit wich has not been the case ever since 8 years so thank you for wasting my time, just saying.

Have you tried to run "Repair DCS" from the start menu?

 

And post the log files from your Saved Games\dcs\logs directory here please if the problem persists.

O I never said there was no problems the last 8 year, I only said I never had a problem wich keeps me from even entering cockpit.

 

Yes I repaired but no joy.

P.s. Mabey I m offensive but somehow if I find the time after weeks to fly a little bit, but the first thing I m encountering is that my installation is corrupted I tend to be a little annoyed.

Do you use any kind of anti virus software? Which one?

 

And perhaps try to update the C++ Runtime libraries (there is somewhere threads around which are covering this)

no im not running any extra virus software besides defender windows 10 plus I havent changed anything on my system. The only thing wich has changed ist the patch to 1.5.3

I have installed runtimes > no joy.

But I reverted to previous version 1.5.2.49392 and everything is running fine, so for me its obviously a fault on the patch.

I have the same problem but only with the bf109K4 :cry: the other modules are working fine.

Hey, after a ticket with many answers, i have the solution!!

 

Uninstall modules and DCS and re-install with the new web installer. The folder in saved games can be restored without problems. :thumbup:

For me a reinstall was necessary. But the quick and dirty way (run installer - stop download - copy in the backed up folders - re run updater) did the job.

Something is different with the new installer that they don't tell us. But the important thing is that we can fly our birds :joystick::pilotfly:
