rtimmons Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I saw a pre-fabricated bottom cover for replacing the large rectangular bottom plate somewhere but now that I need one I can't find it again. Does anyone know where to find one? I am mounting my stick on a Wheel Stand Pro "stick only" mount and there is exposed circuitry I want to cover up not to mention the usb cable is falling out of the slot that holds it in the chassis. The small square plate that comes on the wheel stand pro mount does not completely cover the bottom on the stick and leaves a lot to be desired. thanks randy
streakeagle Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 A simple solution is to use a piece of wood or plastic with holes drilled based on using the original base as a hole marking template. Keep it simple with a square, or trim/sand it to a flush circle, but either way you can have a cover in at most a few hours. With skill/experience with the tools/materials, a few minutes. rtimmons Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 thanks for the suggestions....I am trying to avoid projects due to old age and it hurts but I might have to cave. I was sure I saw a nice pre-fabed cover when I was looking for a mounting solution but maybe that was just old age as well...
