GP-WIZ MAX question for rotaries

Hello,

Has anyone here used the Roto-X feature of GP-WIZ MAX board in DCS? It sounds like it emulates joystick's 0, 90, 180, 270 positions. I'm wondering if anyone used it in DCS for radio/nav knobs?

 

Otherwise, I guess I'll use leobodnar boards and rotary encoders.

So I got confirmation. It can decode step and direction of a rotary switch.

 

I'll play around as that may work for some of my needs.
