Bugs in Su25T training missions

I am currently working my way through the training missions for the Su25T

 

I have encountered a few bugs that need addressing.

These bugs in particular are annoying as one of the main audience for these missions are people inexperienced with these particular craft.

 

I am currently running 1.5.3.50487

Win10 Pro x64 - i5 3570K - Z77XUD3H - 8GB - GTX970 - TM Warthog - Saitek ProFlight Combat peddals - tIR5

 

Su27T training mission "Landing - Hard"

Instructor mentions that this airfield has ILS, and points out that the HSI bars should come alive.

Problem - The HSI bars fail to show any movement, appear inactive.

 

Su27T training mission "Internal Cannon"

Instructor says target area will be illuminated with flares to help see target

Problem - there are no flares.

 

Su27T training mission "ECM air air"

Instructor says press 'E' to enable ECM

Take a look at the right wall of the cockpit. You'll see the ECM light blinking as the jammer warms up.

Once it's a solid light the ECM jammer is opperating.

Problem - no ECM light seen on RH wall of cockpit.

 

 

I will continue the training missions and mention any further issues as they arise.

 

Would be awesome if DCS/ED could keep an eye on these as they continue to work on the sim as a whole.

These training missions are the 1st missions a newcomer will see, and any issues in them may have the potential to discourage players that might otherwise strengthen our community.

hallo erst einmal,habe das Problem mit der Su25T das die rechte Landeklappe nicht Angezeigt wird,dann kann ich die Maschine nicht starten,und oben wird die Geschwindigkeit von 80 angezeigt obwohl ich stehe.Vorher lief das Spiel Einwand frei.(World2)habe schon eine Neuinstallierung versucht.Hoffe mir kann da jemand weiterhelfen.

I had the same problem in the Internal Cannon training. It is impossible to see anything without flares. I couldn't made it through the last green gate, though. (The one that is half in the ground). May be flares come after doing that.

 

Edit: I have just made it through the last gate and still no flares. Nevermind.

This mission is a bit confusing, it tells you there is no ils at the airfield, but talks about using it (not real sure yet about this as ils is available to US aircraft, so I am not sure why they say it isn't available to Russia).

Problem - there are no flares.

There are flares there, they can be dropped from 1000 - 3000m normally and work fine in the old v1.216 but due to an issue with v1.53 they don't light the area at all if dropped from 3000m, However they will work if dropped from 1500 - 2000 meters, so the run in and bombing height has to be adjusted to less then 2000meters.

 

It is also darker than in the old version by the time of day being bugged also, by around 30minutes - 1hr behind, so that needs to be adjusted forward from 7am to 8am.

Whilst I have done a lot of fixing of official missions for the game, but left the training missions alone, I have no influence over when and if they will get incorperated into it by ED, but I do try.

 

I do take notice of posts for broken missions and try to at least inform the user what the problem is and or fix it at the same time.
