Treudd Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Hello, I don't know if this question have been asked before (haven't found it yet), but here we go: Inside the monitor setup LUA file (e.g. mySetup.lua) in the MonitorSetup-folder I can control the viewports, e.g. Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 800; height = 600; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.3333333333; } All the viewports (e.g. center, left, right) will be controlled by the main view, so if I'm viewing left, all the viewports will be moved. My question is, is it possible to create "fixed" viewports? For example an "heads down" viewport, showing the instrument panel? What would help cockpit builders to create custom fixed views, for example of the radio panel or other panels. I know the game can handle custom viewports, for example the TGP and other monitors must be made this way. I remember the Huey have a external load camera that is sort of a fixed view. What I would like to have is a way for the simulator to have certain fixed views (for example of the instruments in the cockpit) which is not RELATIVE the out-the-window viewports. I guess it is possible, but how? Using the monitor config files? Or modifying the aircraft? Currently I use Helios to provide the instruments on a touch screen, but I would prefer that a custom, fixed view of the instruments would be helpful. That way I could fly any aircraft with instruments on a touch screen/monitor and the out the windows linked to TrackIR for out the windows scenes (without the instruments view being relocated). Thanks! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
