sobe Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) I knew that today was going to good. I am using the TM Warthog and when playing with the A10-c using the Loz 2.1 Helios profile, the slew controls in the TAD keep moving without any input from me. This occurs in 1.53 and 2.0. However, it does not seem to occur in other modules, such as the F15. I have rebooted the computer, etc. to no avail. In the device analyzer found in the Target software, the slew controls naturally hold steady at 512 with no movement in them. Helios and Aero same problem No helios and no Aero same problem No duplicate controller assignments checked calibration of the throttle did not help Any suggestions as to what I can do in the TAD to stop this? PiedDroit Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Maybe it's not the WH's ministick that controls your crazy TAD cursor? Try unbinding it and see if the problem is still here.
sobe Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) PiedDroit I unbound the slew controls for the x and y axis in the axis commands column for the throttle and when I went into the game, there was no cursor and nothing moved. I noted that in the key commands, the hotas commands for the slew control are blank. When I control the TAD cursor with the Joystick Hat Button and the Lever modifier, the cursor moves like it should. PiedDroit Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I don't have much clue... What does it says in the axis tune applet? And is the TAD cursor still moving after you fiddle with the ministick? I remember that the default axis setting had a a big neutral zone and small Y saturation value. 30 for both I think.
sobe Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 PiedDroit After trying everything, I simply deleted the config for the A10 in the saved games folder and had the game rebuild the controls. To my amazement, the TAD now works. I have no idea why except that something was screwed up. I did the same thing for 2.0 and now that works also. PiedDroit Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Good you got it sorted  If you have kept the old files maybe a diff would help understanding what was the problem.
