ebabil Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 As most of you know , PMDG and Ifly has a very very good Boeing 737 models already. Isn't it possible to bring them as controllable awacs planes? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737_AEW%26C FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir 5
Vedexent Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 PMDG builds exclusively for FSX and Prepar3D, so far as I know. While you could argue they've got all the requisite research and mathematical modelling done (or at least partly re-usable), it's not a "copy-and-paste" operation to bring them into DCS, any more than I can seamlessly load OSX software into Windows. PMDG would have to build a whole new version for DCS. I'm not sure there's been enough expressed interest in the DCS community to prompt PMDG to take the gamble to invest the time and resources needed to port it.
Drag0nWIng Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Hope we can have a civil human drive airplane to shoot. New F-15c mission, protect "civil" transporter airplane fly to somewhere. And the 737 equip with ecm, chaff and flare. LOL
