I am haven't quite decided whether I go with the Ozone or the R3volution - thus a couple of questions for you:

 

1) Did the Ozone come with a mounting plate for rudders? I don't see that plate in your picture...

 

2) How far is the monitor away from you, considering that the Ozone doesn't allow you to bring the monitor closer in...

1) It does, but the Saitek pedals were a tight squeeze, so I left it off. It's also metal with a ribbed rubber mat on it. Good quality.

 

2) The monitor is maybe a quarter inch past my finger tips with my arm stretched directly forward. Feels like a very natural distance personally and I feel like I'm looking out the window of my cockpit!

 

My only beef was that the assembly instructions were terrible. It's not hard to figure it out though once you get everything out. Just make sure you get the seat put on the frame early.

Okay, I also ordered the Obutto Ozone; it should be here later this week. :)

 

I figured that with my VKB T-Rudders (which are rather compact), and the desire to go VR eventually, there's no need for the larger (and more expensive) Re3volution.

 

I also ordered the flight stick mounts. My only issue will likely be how to mount my VKB Black Mamba with its extension as a center-mounted stick. Guess some customization has to be done.

 

Anyway, looking forward to this. Guess your input was the finally straw to get the Ozone - so thanks for this, Spook9!

Question: How did you mount the keyboard? That piece that connects the tray to the chair doesn't seem to match mine.
