fitness88 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Having just purchased a new 3rd monitor I spent a lot of time color calibrating it to my 2 older monitors. Without something like Datacolor Spyder 4 series calibration tool hardware, is there a software tool around for downloading? Thank you.
fitness88 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 After much testing I realize that it has to be done manually if you have no hardware, either through your graphic's card and/or the monitor settings. The interesting thing is when windows creates a color on your screen, even though it may seem like 2 distinctly different colors as you drag the image from one monitor to the other, the rgb or hex value remains the same. That's why you need hardware. Using Nvidia, I found it easiest to use the setting allowing the application to control the colors, not the graphic card.
