Noob Question : FC 1.12

I've installed lock on flaming cliffs and I'm just starting the training missions.

 

However some of those missions state that playback is not compatible with version 1.12 and to use version 1.1

 

Questions:

(1) Is this really true? I've run some of the training missions with these compatibility warnings in 1.12 and no big problems so far.

 

(2) How do I go back and run lock on version 1.1? I run the original install lock CD and it doesn't allow me to install lock on again in another directory so that I can have multiple versions of lock on.

 

Ideally I'd have lock version 1.1 in one directory and 1.12 in another and I can decide which one I want to run when, but I need to know how to do this ( in detail ! :)

1.) yes it is true but it runs fine on ur system because some of the thing may be very small like a ground unit out of place. Other times the plane crashes. If you want to view theses training mission, i suggest you download the video version. 2.) i think you go into your control panel and remove the 1.12a patch, i think it goes back to 1.1. but like i said, just watch the video so no need to multi version.
