Aircraft Shakes on starup/onground

there seems to be this Shake that happens on the ground after engines start. small and fast.

I've noticed it only with brakes (parking brake especially) off. When it's on the shaking stops. It doesn't always shake, but it seems to do it more often than not. I think putting the throttle up to get it to just start moving and then idling the throttle again is a good way to reproduce it.

 

When I encountered it (stopped before turning onto the runway at Kutaisi) I put the parking brake on and off a few times and it reliably stopped/started shaking each time.

I think the feeling is more like that you have chocks and you have to push it to go over them kinda feel

 

Also may be completely unrelated but ...

 

I can't seam to get smokes to work for the past couple of weeks on Mirage

 

I've tried everything they just don't show up and can't be selected.

 

I know that they used to not show up on PCA but you could still select them and it worked before but now even that doesn't work

Can confirm. Aircraft shakes standing still with idle power no brakes. Apply any brake (parking or wheel) or start rolling and the shaking stops immediately. Happens in SP and MP.

you almost cant Visually see it but if you look at the instruments you an tell it's like a Vibration when stopped, to the extent it wouldn't let me Rearm and refuel until i braked or moved forward a little.

i found it........When you turn the HYD switch on it starts shaking even with the engine's off......just flip the switch on the ground and it stats shaking before engine start......

 

edit.well maby not started and before i turned switch on it started shaking.

^ agreed, seems to happen with battery on, emergency hydraulic pump switch on. Park brake and wheel brakes both stop the shaking.

 

Edit: although I'm unable to reproduce it now. May only occur with a fresh start or something?

FWIW, CptSmiley, ground idle thrust should be enough to move the aircraft (if ground is even and load is not super-heavy). Real pilots often have to use the brakes (or parking brake) for this reason (and that's in particular true when starting the engine, because it goes beyond idle trust for a few seconds, then).

Now that you mention it I have to get the throttle to about 60% just to even start going forward

Smiley i was able to get it to shake by..

 

1.BAT ON

2.Hyd switch ON

 

it stats shaking, but not sure i just got ahead of my self yesterday on a start up and clicked the button and it started shaking. i dont think the starter was running but i could be wrong.
