No601_Tom Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I have a Fighterstick plugged into one usb, and an X45 stick and throttle plugged into another. I have CH Pro pedals in a separate usb slot. My pedals do not work. My Fighterstick elevator control is jittery and I have to be very gentle to get full elevator, or it does not work. When I look at the stick in-game it is judering. Any ideas how to fix it?
S77th-konkussion Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Check your in game lock on axis mappings. Ensure that the RUDDER axis is mapped to your pedals ONLY. While you're there- flip switch at bottom/right to "axis" from slider & set the dead zone & curve to your liking. Repeat for the other axes. Leaving them default will definitely cause them to jitter and be more difficult to use. You might have to Check to see that you have not mapped the rudder in the SST profile you have loaded. This is unlikely. Basically - if you follow the instructions on this page- you'll be set to go. http://www.freewebs.com/konkussion/x45helpdesk.htm [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Revvin Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 It sounds like you have two axis set to do the same control fuction, you need to go into the axis mapping in Lock On and seelct each device in the drop down menu and de-select all the axis that get automatically set by Lock On and re-map them.
No601_Tom Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 Ok, the rudder now works fine. The joystick axes have been set for elevator control as axis1 and ailerons as axis0. Looking at the in game joystick makes my eyes hurt because it is juddering all over the place. There is no elevator response at all. Externally my elevator are twitching as are my ailerons.
S77th-konkussion Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Same thing- check all your devices and make sure that LOMAC has not mapped the control surfaces to more than one controller. This INCLUDES your PEDALS- lomac WILL map that wierd too. X-45: only the THRUST axis should have a command FS: only the PITCH, ROLL axes have commands. pro pedals: only the RUDDER axis should have a command. Adjust them all to your liking with the deadzone & curve sliders.. Then map additional axes to the desired controllers if you want them there (trim, MFD, etc etc) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
