bunraku Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Hi I can never get my RPM's over 92%.I am using the Warthog Hotas. I'm not sure if this is a design of the A-10C or limited by the Hotas throttle, but is there anyway to go balls to the wall and get that missing 8% when needed? Thanks
GGTharos Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 This is the normal RPM for those engines. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Zabuzard Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 It's possible to go to full power (dunno exactly where, maybe something like 'Override'). But the additional 8% won't give you any more power in sense of thrust. Meaning, it only damages your engine and won't give you any advantage. The engine automatically goes to the best setting (depending on speed & attitude conditions etc.) you demand with the throttle. When you set 100% throttle it will go to the threshold where more would not give any further thrust.
KLR Rico Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Um... any increase in N1 is accompanied with more thrust. i5-4670K@4.5GHz / 16 GB RAM / SSD / GTX1080 Rift CV1 / G-seat / modded FFB HOTAS
