Help with 1.5

I tried jumping into 1.5 a few days ago and it wouldn't connect to the servers - it would launch, get to 'updating' then nothing. When I eventually got it started, the MP servers wouldn't update (and I knew the login wasn't connecting as it didn't matter what I typed in the password line).

 

So, after reading a few threads on here I decided to uninstall my 1.5 and download it again (hey I have unlimited internet!), so I d/loaded the installer but once I hit install (ie. DCS_Updater I think it is), it will say 'updating', then nothing. Its like its not connecting to the internet. 2.0 works fine which is weird.

 

I thought it might be an antivirus thing but I've put in exceptions plus added exceptions in the windows firewall...all to no avail (and the exe file hasn't been deleted by the antivirus program).

 

Sorry I can't be more descriptive but that's it. Any suggestions?
