When using mechanical controllers, like Thrust Master HOTAS, getting your switches and controls set like the mission creator intended--even if I'm the mission creator :music_whistling:--can be chancy. How often does the mission start with the engine suddenly dying, or revving up extremely...

My suggestion, a kind of menu showing the switches and controls which require pre-mission-start setting.

Red indicator next to switches, which must be set.

Green when they are set correctly.

For throttles, etc. a visual slider indicator showing where your throttles etc. are set, and where they should be set.

When the pilot is satisfied with his settings, he can start the mission.

Also, of course, a simple way to set controls up in the ME :smilewink:

When you hit the wrong button on take-off
