Haven't noticed that bug in 1.2, so it seems that it appeared in 1.5.

 

There seems to be a serious desync in the multiplayer sometimes. There is gotta be something wrong with netcode xD.

It happens from time to time and its hard to catch and it also seems to appear in different forms.

It's hard to explain, but I'll try:

 

Lets say we have planes A and B

 

A and B are flying head-on. A can't spot B at all, because he is just not appearing for A at all, or is in a completely different place. However, for B, A is there and B can easily kill him.

 

I have a video of the tracks from two different perspectives demonstrating the bug . On the video, for the guy in the F-15(server host), Su-27(client) was never there(like it haven't spawned). However for Su-27, F-15 was there. No rwr spikes were received on both sides.
