Force_Feedback Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 So, what happened ? Pilots went for another sim ? Anything better than FC ? Lol, no, we couldn't keep up the discipline, and eventually it ended almost as fast as it started. Our forums are (were) still up, but since the guest account hasn't been blocked there are like 1000 dick enlargement threads :( I can't find it now, but will post as soon as I'll find it. Hell, I even forgot our squad name, all I know I was the Mig-29S commander, something with 73 in my devision's name. We had dynamic campaign plans, having two sides, we would fly every week a mission or two, progressing the campaign. But with 1.01 and later 1.02 it would be impossible fps-wise with the large quantities of ground vehicles. Also we made rules about everything concerning dying and so on, I set up the ejection criteria and such, and an ejectee would be unable to participate in the mission after if he ejected in enemy territory. A lot of great concepts, hampered by the technology at the time (which is the same until today, so nothig has changed). I certainly miss the times, but that did make me more independant, and I haven't flown for another squad since. I thought about joining an aerobatics squad, as that is what I do whenever I play lomac. But I think the times would clash with other things I soemtimes have to do (going out, having beers, chasing m.. females, etc). Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
