mattebubben Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) Guys, I have recently noticed that Mig29S MFD HUD REPEATER on off Option disappeared from controls-systems. Any idea. It was a change that was done when it was given its new 6DOF cockpit. IRL it seems the Mig-29 only has that Hud repeater mode for the display and does not have the Data link mode it had before. So this was changed to limit it to the Realistic Mode. So this is intentional and Realistic. (atleast from what i and fellow forum members have been able to gather) Edited June 20, 2016 by mattebubben
DarkFire Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Accurate as it is now. The MiG-29 does not have the head-down-display & datalink systems that the Su-27 has. The HDD on the MiG-29 (at least all the versions in DCS) is purely a HUD repeater.
