UH-1 operating by Japan

how can i make uh-1 operating by Japan? it is strange but there is only ka-50 and mi-8 on Japan side and im sure this country is operating huey! thank you

It looks like it's actually Ka-50 and Gazelle. Anyway:

1. Open ...\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Database\db_countries.lua

2. Find "local units = country:get("JAPAN").Units" - line 1826 in 1.5.4

3. add UH-1 and Mi-8 (if you want) by inserting fallowing lines after line as above:

cnt_unit( units.Helicopters.Helicopter, "UH-1H");

cnt_unit( units.Helicopters.Helicopter, "Mi-8MT");

 

The modified file is attached. Also this way you can add any unit as you wish. Note that the file will get overwritten by update so you'll have to restore it.
