acdelta57 Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Just like the title suggests, if I engage a bandit with the 530 and fire then loose lock but am able to re lock the same target within a few seconds (assuming the missle isn't already past the target) will the 530 re-track to the target? If the target is still within the missile FOV then yes, it will be reacquired by the missile. acdelta57 Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 Awesome that's what I figured was happening the few times it worked and the few times the target was out of FOV. So my next question is, happens quite frequently with me when I pop up behind a lazy eagle driver, if I fire my 530, the target beams I loose lock but then switch to CCM and it re locks quickly if the target is still within FOV it will also re direct the 530? Or must the "re-lock" be done with the TDC cursor?
