Confine cursor to window options kills menu system

under the VR tab in 1.5 there is a new option called "confine cursor to window".

 

If i change it from true to false the hit ok. the game menu screen doe not load again. you are just sitting in the hanger but the menu won't reload.

 

this is with htc vive, DCS stand alone.
