ME Formation, from the beginning

This is from my experience in setting up P-51D's in missions.

Currently you can set a formation in the first way point advanced action, but it means nothing to how the aircraft of a flight are positioned at the actual start of the mission; they are always dispersed about 200 yards apart in an echelon-right formation, and then start to take on the given formation.

 

The formation set in the ME should regulate how the aircraft of of a flight actually start the mission.

 

All of the formations should have the options 'close' (flying about 15-20 yards apart), or 'open' (about 100 yards apart).
