Skynet99 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Hi, could not find accurate info about the following problem I have: There is a trigger zone in a multiplayer map which should deactivate the client (user controlled) if he/she leaves the zone. However it only works if I launch the mission in single player (local). The trigger works, as there is a message as well when I leave the zone, yet I am not deactivated. Any thoughts?
Pitot Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I have some training missions where I have set up clients so that they explode if they leave the zone. It works in multiplayer too. So, the problem is in the last, 3rd trigger-step maybe? BTW in your case you have PLAYER in SP and CLIENT in MP that should be affected by the trigger. Check if you have set what exact unit is to be deactivated in multi-player scenario. Don't ask, here's the answer: 95% of my posts are edited because I have OCD.

There is only one trigger in the mission to determine if the client is outside the zone, then it should action the deactivate. Should I use a flag set to true then trigger the deactivation in another step?
Pitot Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I have a feeling the game doesn't have a clue what exact client to deactivate. BTW posting a miz file would help when you ask questions like this. Don't ask, here's the answer: 95% of my posts are edited because I have OCD.
Skynet99 Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 Attached the miz. The -blue05 to -blue10 plane triggers are the ones. Those work in SP but not in MP.AIR_BASE_0709.miz
Pitot Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Will check when home. That might take a while tho. Don't ask, here's the answer: 95% of my posts are edited because I have OCD.
