Tango Lima Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 How accurate is the latitude and longitude in the virtual world (F10 MAP)1.5 and 2.0 ? What I found, the co-ordinate always between 500 to 1000 meters off. For a precision planning is this a no go ! I use the A-10C, Mirage 2000C, Gazelle SA-342M/L Can any one verify this ? Have any one the same problem ? I know we have the possibility in the F10 MAP to chance with ALT+Z different format for latitude and longitude. A test flight and replay with Tackview, possible show how accurate can be the data ? A good test pilot is always in training Thomas
Panhead Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Make sure your L/L type is set the same as your navigation system. Use decimal, or whatever it requires. In the A10C I have used both decimal L/L and UTM. The accuracy is, well... accurate. :) In F10 map, change coordinates type by ALT+Y.
