SmukY Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Anyway I've recently set up the PC as new, so I've formatted everything and etc. So after installing DCS and setting the drivers for HOTAS and pedals up I've had to remap the controls (delete the rudder axis from HOTAS and then delete the pitch, yaw and collective/throttle from pedals). Since either saving as profile or HTML doesn't work as I'd wish it would I got a glimpse of idea that we should be able to store the key configs onto our online profile - after fresh installs the client would just grab the online stored profiles and load it up as we start the game with our login. If that's not possible, how one can save key assigns since 'save as profile' and 'save as html' work only for one key command? Or I am doing something wrong if I can't save for all changes I've made (and I own many modules, so you can imagine the pain I have setting up new axes for all modules) :) TL;DR - it is possible to have online profiles for axis and key assigns for modules tied to our DCS login and (module keys etc.) authorisation account? So we don't have to fiddle with key mapping after every fresh install or in some rare instances, after every update? Helicopters don't fly, they just subdue the air. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Home Fries Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Closest you could come to that is to sync your Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input folder to a cloud service, but you don't need to do that. While the function to save a profile only works for one controller, you can save profiles for the different controllers by selecting the column of the controller you want to save. Then name them unique names preferably based on aircraft and controller type (e.g. UH1_Warthog_Throttle.diff.lua). Hope this helps. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide
