kylekatarn720 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 It s the mission that u were suppossed to take off from a carrier and intercept some fighters around senaki area and RTB. Problem is that right at the beginning of the mission my jet and my wingmens jets are spawning at the same spot, making them explode after 3-4 seconds. I tried using "ship take off position" key (Lshift + U). It moves you to another spot with a destroyed engine. I stop the engines call for a repair and after repairing it everything is fine except the ailerones just next to the cockpit( not sure if they are ailerons) are locked in an upward position so if i try to take off plane tries to climb in a very steep angle, jet stalls and crashes in to the water. I tried creating a fast mission nothing is wrong there, everything works like they are supposed to. Other jets are fine 2. Trıed to change spawn positions from mission planner but apparently u cant modify them.
Domcho Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Can you tell which of the 2 Su-33 campaigns and which mission number exactly?
kylekatarn720 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) oh guess i forgot to mention them:d heavy sky campaign and its the 16th or the 17th mission. objective is to take off from the carrier intercept air targets in senaki area and rtb EDIT: Its not 16th or 17th i just checked it again. And i dont know the mission number. just couldnt find the mission number EDIT: Used the mission planer. Mission file name is fc3_5_33_010_en.miz Edited August 12, 2016 by kylekatarn720
Domcho Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) Here is what I want you to do: download the attached file, put it in C:\Users\your username\Saved Games\DCS\Missions. Now go to your DCS World folder where you installed the game and then navigate to Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Missions\en\Campaigns. Make a backup of the h_s.cmp. After you've done that start DCS World, open Campaign Builder then click the Open button, click Flaming Cliffs, select the h_s.cmp file and open it. Click on Stage 10, then click on fc3_5_su33_010_en.miz, click remove. Now click add, click on My Missions, then find fc3_5_33_010_en_FIXED.miz and click OK. Click Save. Exit the Campaign Builder and go to Campaigns, open the campaign, you should be on the same mission if you haven't restarted the campaign or haven't gone behind by losing missions. Start the mission. You shouldn't have the problems you described. The problem is the following - your group consists of you and 2 other planes, total: 3. There was a 4th plane not inside your group with late activaiton but because it was set to take off from runway (from the aircraft carrier), for some reason even though it's late activation, his place is reserved, that's why you start on top of your wingman. What I did was I made him start directly in the air from the same location when he is activated by the trigger. The only thing that changes the mission experience is that he'll arrive a little bit faster to help you since he doesn't take off but starts directly in the air. The trigger that spawns the unit is only activated when wingman #3 in the group dies, if he dies at all, just in case you're wondering. If you have any problems write again.fc3_5_33_010_en_FIXED.miz Edited August 12, 2016 by Domcho

Thanks for the help anyway^^ Ahhh I forgot. You must restart the campaign which means you have to start from the first mission, unless you select the 10th stage to be the start of the campaign in the Campaign Builder

Domcho Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I am not sure if this is a new or old bug since I played the 2 Su-33 campaigns half a year before 1.5 came out. I guess it must be a new bug since ED messed with the carrier model.
kylekatarn720 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) Dunno man i started this game a month ago and i love it but there are lots of bugs and glitches. There are too many aircraft if u ask me. I know they want to make people get curious and spend money on it but having 20 simplefied aircraft is worse than having 4-5 detailed aircraft. You should be able to say to yourself that "im really learning something about this aircrafts systems" and u cant say that if it takes you to press 3-4 buttons on keyboard to get a jet from parking to take off. I mean this is supposed to be a simulator.in this simulator I can fly a su33, attack and destroy targets with it, and land it on a carrier. If someone put me on real su33 cockpit right now i wouldnt even be able to turn on the gear lights. I m not expecting to be a real fighter pilot after playing this game but i am expecting to learn about it while im enjoying it. Edit: Got distracted from our subject a bit. I think the main reason of these bugs is they are trying to give more options to people instead of more detail. they are spending more time creating new aircrafts instead of trying to perfect what u have before creating new. Domcho Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 It's quite the opposite. The reason you experience this is because you're flying the Flaming Cliffs aircraft. Personally I only fly Russian aircraft only, unfortunately only the MiG-15 and MiG-21 are PFM + ASM. You can check each aircraft's quality here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2872146&postcount=34 If you hop into an aircraft with ASM you'll have a clickable cockpit and functional aircraft systems. The only module I own with such quality is... actually it's not an aircraft, it's the Mi-8 Helicopter which I can't fly because I don't have rudder pedals. I feel you, and I wish, probably more than everyone, that Russian FC3 and the free Su-25T aircraft have full PFM+ASM clickable cockpits one day. Unfortunately if that day even ever comes, it won't be anytime soon for any of those aircraft.
kylekatarn720 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 damn should have looked into this flight modules before buying fc3. i prefer russian ones 2 , its not that i dont like us made ones(i appreciate the beauty of both sides:d) but the imperial system really really pisses me off, everytime i try one (and i actually do every 2-3 days) seeing nautical miles and feet forces me to quit.
