skypickle Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 View outside front windshield an olive drab color. No features at all. http://i.imgur.com/9b430rQ.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/AzaVUSH.jpg The F2 view is fine http://i.imgur.com/UpMZDjf.jpg The behavior of the F2 is also erratic-zooming out spontaneously esp when shifting view to behind the aircraft. Running Windows 8.1 pro on 5930K w 780Ti (368.81 drivers and also tried 362 drivers) Log attached. Start DCS Game to main screen: Entries up to and including line 56 in log are written Select training>Huey>Takeoff and landing: Entries up to and including line 179 in log are written Start sim with 'FLY': remaining entries written. Interesting observations: 1) errors starting at line 111 VFS: Can't open file models/groundExplosion_03_01.lua. all the way to line 125 are because the required lua scripts are missing. These scripts are reference in groundExplosion.lua FXFiles = { -- "clusterTestFX", -- "clusterTestFX2", "groundExplosion_03_01", "groundExplosion_03_02", "groundExplosion_03_03", "groundExplosion_03_04", "groundExplosion_03_05", -- "groundExplosion_01", -- "groundExplosion_02", }, 2) error line 161 is about a missing render target? 3) errors from line 162 through line 175 seem to relate to a missing T stream? All these errors happen before you 'fly'. After selecting fly there is only one more error, line 183 DX11BACKEND: rendertarget "HeatAir" not found This may be why the F2 view zooms out when viewing the aircraft from behind - no heated air rendertarget? The game cache integrity was checked and the errors are unchanged. The appearrance and behavior of all other aircraft is normal. This does not happen on windows 10. I know the 'solution' is to use Windows 10 (that is what my support reply said - and then they closed the ticket). But I was hoping to get a reply from Belsimtek about these bugs.dcs.zip 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
