Question about HUD range indication for missiles

I'm working on the R33 missile for mig31 mod (in FC3-based cockpit), the range indication for missile is incorrect and need some tweaks.

Maybe I missed something but I couldn't find the related files to correct that, so that one of the question.

If there is no such thing, is there anyway to make a file in the mod's dir to override the info locally?

After doing.some tests, I found out the AI knows the correct range to launch the missile, so the problem has to be the connection to the HUD scripts. But still, nowhere to be found. Any idea?
