Hi

I have had this discussion somewhere but I can't find it by searching.

While playing DCS the Vive background screen pops through from time to time. I have been told that this is a feature to prevent users from feeling sick when the frame rate drops.

I was watching someone else playing on my Vive yesterday and noticed that the Vive app showed "Not responding" whenever this happened. This makes me think that it is more of a limitation on the Vive than DCS. Am I correct?

Secondly, I am finding that the Vive is very stuttery if I am facing my home airfield (i.e. one with lots of vehicles etc. on it).

Does anyone have a solution for either of these issues?

Cheers!

What you were told about the Vive safety function is true. If a game stops sending frames to the headset, it will show the homespace. This is a function of DCS and not a limitation on the Vive itself.
