Chipwich Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) One of the things that you give up while using a headset is having a paper clipboard or actual kneeboard to refer to while flying a mission. I especially notice this when doing a campaign like Red Flag 16-2 for the F-15C, which has a detailed briefing, lineup card, and map for every mission. Using Kneeboard Builder, I now create a kneeboard group for each mission adding those items along with a personal group that I throw odds and ends into, like checklists and a map of my controller config. This works really well, maybe better than the real deal, albeit you can't take notes of course. Delta99 Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 What do you mean by kneeboard settings for locating the kneeboard while using Oculus Rift? Does this place it on your knee? I thought I read somewhere that it is possible to do that. My Missions: Valley Patrol Mission :: Valley Escort Mission :: A2A Engagements

marques Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 thanks for the info! Just to add to it, at least in the ka-50, if you show the pilot in cockpit he has the kneeboard in the left leg, and you can pass the pages as with the regular kneeboard "overlay", albeit the resolution and detail is not too much.
