Aim 9p fire on their own causing friendly fire

I have had this happen a few times.

 

 

Flying along and hit master arm and the missiles fire on their own after a couple of seconds.

 

I have cleared the mapping on my warthog stick and remapped but it still does it sometimes. You end up firing all your missiles or worse,shoot your own team.

 

Anyone else had this?

Weird issue...What kind of joystick do you have? Is it a 30 years old thing that has shorts all over it? I never had this problem.

Thrustmaster Warthog about one year old.

 

I hope it isn't the stick.

If you are flying russian planes pickle won't do much. What you could do is look at a device analyser (windows, targets, dcs etc.) just to see if the pickle comes on randomly. If not, you may have a double mapping of pickle/a conflict, or if you are using target, if you have any command using space and right alt (this is the command to fire missiles).

 

Otherwise, the only thing I see is that if you jettinson weapons while missiles are selected, it will shoot missiles.

My guess would be that he Jettisoned with the missiles selected.

 

And Leadlag are you the guy from the F-5E vs Mig-21 server?

(a guy flew there today and had problems with the missiles being launched by accident?)

 

Especially since if its the same guy he said at one time that the missiles fired when he jettisoned his droptank.

I'm one of those guys. Have also had it in singleplayer so I don't think its the server.

Just to add. I use emergency jettison to get rid of my tanks quickly when in a2a format.
