I figured this would be a reported bug by now that would get fixed in this update but I guess not.

 

Ever since the last update this became an issue.

 

Clients can't see static objects placed down in missions. The host to the server can see them just fine. This includes but is not limited to: Parked aircraft and vehicles, placed buildings, all static objects.

 

This has been tested with my group multiple times, through multiple clients, using previously made and built from scratch missions.

 

I feel this hasn't been reported because the Host (of a server) or in singleplayer you can see these just fine, but it seems to be a client side issue. The clients also do not collide with static objects even though the host does. If the host taxis into say, a static mig-23, the client will see the host randomly explode but this will not happen to the client if they taxi into the mig-23s position.

 

Please fix this, static objects are rather important and has put some of our missions on hold as they relied on them.

 

Want to replicate this? Place down some static objects in the mission editor and host a server, you can see the objects, but your clients can't.
