jef32 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) Hi Just a little question: I'm making an airshow single mission and i want to join some public sounds, some musics, some applauses and some animator's speechs but these sounds musn't be heard from the closed cockpit, especially when engines are on. This would be unrealistic. With the mission editor, is it possible to give an origin point for a sound by associating a sound to a static object? Thanks ! The Black Swan Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 The only way I know of is to set units to transmit an audio file over a certain radio freq. But even though it would fade with distance it would be audible in-cockpit. If you are making a video the best option is to use a video editing software to add it in afterwards. jef32 Posted October 13, 2016 Author Posted October 13, 2016 Hi But the noises of the engines of the other planes are directional and when your canopy is closed, you hear them at a lower level. When they're far, you hear them at a little level and when they're near, you hear them louder. It's the same for vehicles. Perhaps we can do this possible with meeting crowd.
