Tic-Tac Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Came across this recently... http://www.digitaltrends.com/pc-accessory-reviews/myo-gesture-control-armband-review/ https://www.myo.com/connect I'm just waiting on my rift getting delivered, so won;t look to add any further complications for a while, but wondered if anyone had had any experience with this hardware? Looks like it could be ideal for VR/flight sims as there's nothing to hold, no buttons to press... any thoughts?
Ratcatcher Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Thanks for the link. Looks interesting. I would love to see something that allows cockpit interaction, using my hand to "click & switch" the controls rather than bringing up the cursor that hovers over them ( which of course uses another joystick button to actuaute it ). There seems a couple of these types of interfaces in development at the moment. The key thing will be how easy ( if even possible )they will be to integrate into DCS. I would certainly be interested in getting such a device IF it achieves this smoothly.
