Consistent stutters, second mission

Starting with the second mission, the familiarization flight, I am experiencing a consistent pause every 2 seconds, I found this thread about a possible radar bug in the f-15 campaign:

Suffer from the same two second stutter almost every mission in this campaign. Fairly consistent feels like CPUs is polling for something else causing the issue.
