I created a script for Voice Attack that tunes the radios in the A-10C (can't remark on other aircraft, I only own the A10C,) and it works pretty nice so I thought I'd share it. I use it as part of a larger voice suite I'm developing (Inspired by VAICOM, but requires no radio buttons to be mapped), but this is just the radio part.

If you know Voice Attack, then you should pick this up fairly quickly. Place the folder from my zip file into your VA /apps folder and import the profile.

You will need to setup keys for your radios so VA can tune them. I have them set in the profile as follows:

VHF AM 10mhz Decrease Lalt + Lshift + Num-

VHF AM 10mhz Increase Lalt + Lshift + Num+

VHF AM 1mhz Decrease Lctrl + Lshift + Num-

VHF AM 1mhz Increase Lctrl + Lshift + Num+

ILS Freq KHZ Decrease Lalt + Lcrtl + Num-

ILS Freq KHZ Increase Latl + Lcrtl + Num+

ILS Freq MHZ Decrease Lshift + Lwin + Num-

ISL Freq MHZ Increase Lshift + Lwin + Num+

You can of course set them to whatever you want, but you'll have to change them in the script as well.

This assumes the plane loads with the default AM and ILS freqs, 124.0 and 108.95 respectively. I'm guessing there are missions that load your plane with different settings, but I've not seen that yet myself so.....I guess I'll figure that out if/when it's a problem.

I only utilize the VHF AM and the ILS radio. It's used for tuning the AM radio to airfields as well as the ILS radio if an ILS exists for the field. I might add the other radios and TACAN at a later time, but I really don't find much use for those. They are easy enough to tune/use, especially the FM for JTAC. But the airfields and ILS mean you don't need to look them up on the kneepad.

It's use is simple. Say "Radio <airfield>" and it will tune the AM first and the ILS if needed. And also print to the VA screen the ILS rwy so you can set it down on the the heading thingy (too technical?) :smartass:

So, "radio batumi" will tune both the tower freq and the ILS for Batumi. When you have a field with two ILS, it tunes the primary and then leaves a message for tuning the secondary.

Can't think of anything else, so if you want, give it a try. It's pretty slick and saves me a lot of headaches looking up freqs and twisting around in the pit to turn knobs, etc.
