myHelljumper Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Hi everyone, For some time now I have found 2 "minor bugs" with the auto pilot. I'm not really sure that they are bugs, the aircraft could behave like this in reality so I will let the devs confirm whether or not they are bugs :) BUG 1 : If you put the AP in standby mode release the AP standby button and, because you are out the the AP envelope, the AP stays in standby you can't disconect it the the AP disconnect/exceed elastic limit button. BUG 2 : If you are in attitude and altitude or selected altitude mode and you press the AP standby button it disengage the altitude modes. Then when you release the standby button the only active autopilot the the attitude hold. Hope it help ;) Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
myHelljumper Posted December 8, 2016 Author Posted December 8, 2016 Bumping and I've noticed that the selected altitude in not very precise, it always stop at about 50 to 100 feets above or under the selected altitude. Azrayen Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 There is indeed a number of (relatively minor) issues with the AP. Those have been noticed :) Now, given that the FM was still evolving recently, and that each change in FM is suceptible to create the need to adjust AP accordingly, I'm in favour of a step by step management: first tune the FM to its top level, then do a comprehensive check and overhaul of the AP. My 2 cents :)
myHelljumper Posted December 8, 2016 Author Posted December 8, 2016 Yup, we will see how it goes ;-) Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
