Testing D2M

So I set up a low-and-slow Mirage with Magics onboard. I also make sure that in the mission the "Do not mount the DDM sensors" remains unchecked. I confirm that the D2M is activated by the solid light under the RWR.

 

In the flight path I have set up a solitary soldier with an Igla. I watch him take aim and launch but I see nothing on the RWR nor any auditory alert.

 

What am I doing wrong here? I have tested this multiple times to ensure that the launch occurs within the FoV of the sensor so I dont get it. :(

MANPADS are currently bugged. They emit no smoke and don't trigger the MWS in the A-10C either.

 

Try it with a Strela.

I've tried with Strelas they do emit smoke and I get a warning from the first one (Maybe) and sometimes it points to wrong direction.

 

After that I can't seam to trigger a warning anymore

Thanks for the tip. I tried the Strela and confirmed it works on the first launch. Subsequent launches are not indicated on the RWR but there is a tone emitted so at least there is something :)
