BSS_Sniper Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 One of our guys is having a problem with the F86. We've got a mission we made to practice and the aircraft are hot started on the ramp, ready to go. After he takes off, as soon as he raises the flaps, the plane violently pitches up, goes vertical. Even after trimming all the way nose down, it doesn't help. The stick in game, in the cockpit is neutral. There are no controls doubled up or conflicting. Here's the strange part, this doesn't happen when he flies it offline, just online. Any ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated. mkiii Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Look it up - They lost a lot of pilots in training because of the Sabres unpleasant pitch up on takeoff. The pilots manual has a large warning regarding the a/c pitching up on takeoff, enough to stall the aircraft when raising the gear if the speed is too close to minimum takeoff speed. I suspect the same must go for the flaps. Is he raising both at the same time? EDIT: That aside, the online only part seems to say something isn't normal there. I certainly can't get it to pitch up to vertical, even when deliberately doing everything wrong. Edited February 16, 2017 by mkiii
