Gizzy Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) KA50 frequency increase / decrease inputs have buffer / lag issues. A series of quick succession DX pulses results in a large lag in the displayed frequency as if the model DX read side has a slow synch and is buffering the input. Switch to the Huey for example and the display response is instantaneous with absolutely no lag using the same controller (DSD FL1 rotary - connected direct to MB USB) Overclocked Intel® Core™i7-6700k Quad Core (4.00GHz @ upto MAX 4.60GHz) ASUS® Z170 PRO GAMING: ATX, LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs 16GB HyperX FURY DDR4 2666MHz (2 x 8GB Kit) Nvidea 980ti CORSAIR 750W CS SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD Corsair H80i GT Hydro Cooler Windows 10 Edited December 15, 2016 by Gizzy
McMicha Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Hello Gizzy, Some switches and rotarys have an animation that takes some time, so also the frequency rotarys for the Ka-50 radio. Only when this animation has expired, the switch can process a new input. CU Micha Simpit Software by SDA "SIMPIT DEVELOPER ASSOCIATION" DCS ExportScript D.A.C.
