Problem with trainings mission: Taxi, takeoff

I got problems with the trainings mission and do not know why it aborts when starting rolling.

 

Where is my fault? Everytime i try start rolling, giving left rudder and use the wheelbrake, the mission aborts. Can you please explain what i am doing wrong?

Taxiing is a tricky lesson indeed, especially on top of learning how to handle the skittish Spitfire on the ground ;)

 

The tracking of left / right and many other parameters is great, though, and the accent of the instructor is a nice touch!

 

 

1) I confirm this training mission is sometimes eager to trigger a failed mission, the problem is that it does so

- in situations that are still recoverable (going just a little too far but still on the runway for ex.)

- without telling the user what failed

- resetting the mission directly which breaks the flow of events.

 

The most problematic being the "not telling the user what went wrong", sometimes it's obvious (I saw trigger zones in the grass near the runway, I can imagine the user will guess what went wrong), but more often it's not.

 

Examples: For one, I had my first "reset" when I started to move the Spitfire: did I go too far? or too much on the left or right? I remember closing the canopy to hear the instructor, since the "visibility" is not really increased by opening it anyway, was it the reason? I still don't know.

 

Another attempt that I caught on a track file (but it's 19 MB, too large to upload here) failed when starting to take-off, with a correct boost, and well-aligned aircraft ... I don't know what was deemed wrong.

 

 

2) The detection of the rudder trim is not working when using a shortcut apparently, or even when turning the trim with the mouse. Sometimes it's caught almost immediately and it's fine, but most of time I had to fiddle with the trim back and forth to make the mission trigger.

 

 

3) Already mentioned in other posts, the voice of the instructor should be at the same level as the ATC, for now it's inaudible even with "helmet on" (changing the volume of World / ... is not a valid option).
