Redglyph Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 DCS 1.5.5.60338.212 The "description.lua" in the MIG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\custom directory is replaced by the default file with any new update, rendering the option of a custom livery pointless. Suggestion: the "description.lua" file should not be part of the installation files, it should be given as a template with a different name to avoid its removal, and the system should detect whether the description.lua file is present to validate the presence of a custom livery. Buzzles Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 It's not really a bug I don't think, as that's how all the packages files behave. AFAIK, LN implemented the ability to have custom cockpits a long time ago before ED built in into the core of DCS World. Obviously as ED have now done work at a lower level, it makes LN's implementation redundant. You shouldn't need to put custom cockpits in that "custom" folder any more, just in a named folder, eg: ...\Mods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\testNew ...\Mods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\BrightPink Certainly works like that for other modules like the Ka-50. This is not what I see. Could you tell me on which version you see a cockpit selection for the Mig-21Bis?
