CR4ZYHOR5E Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Am returning to simming after 3-4 years so starting from scratch (Hardware, software, peripherals, everything), so have lots of newbie questions - apologies. The new rig should arrive shortly after Christmas so am not quite at the stage of being able to set everything up, but did just receive my HOTAS Warthog. Naturally I unpacked it so I could make aeroplane noises and pretend to shoot things! I did plug it into my laptop just to see how easy/difficult it is going to be to install... The TARGET software looks a bit tricky. Is there some sort of setup guide available for using The Warthog in DCS? Thought I'd spend some time over Christmas reading up so that I'll be ready to go when the comp arrives. Assuming it's installed and recognised in Control Panel/device Manager does it automatically work in DCS (only needing to map keys/buttons according to preferences?), or do I need to use this TARGET software? Any info/advice gratefully received. CH
