"Carefully I went through the cockpit drill, murmuring the ritual phase - BTFCPPUR (Brakes, Trim, Flaps, Contacts, Pressure, Petrol, Undercarriage, Radiator)."

"All clear, contact."

Pierre Clostermann - The Big Show (and several other Spit books).

Since in Mk. IX Radiator is automatic and Undercarriage always spawn down and locked, Flaps always up... :D

B - (Parking) brakes ON

T - Throttle forth and back to 1''

F - Fuel (cock) ON

P - Pressures

C - Contacts (magnetos, coil, start)

T - Trim adjusts

"Ready for take-off".

For CLoD I adapt for their "open fuel cock and press the 'magical' E", and

in the panel. ;)

The "Brakes" at the end is for release then - they spawn engaged, and although are not able to immobilize the plane are not safe for the propeller... :P

EDIT - Since in Mk. IX is not possible use chewing gum:

"TRIMS" mean set trim tabs and other final things like altimeter, position lights, close caps, etc. And more important, BRAKES OFF.

well, i cant get the chewing-gum note to fit on the front dash and be readable, i did however get it on the dropdown door on the left side of the seat :) i am currently working to find other possible locations for it to be easy to view, and read.

Carefully I went through the cockpit drill, murmuring the ritual phase - BTFCPPUR (Brakes, Trim, Flaps, Contacts, Pressure, Petrol, Undercarriage, Radiator).

Oh mon petit clo-clo ... Yea, I memorized that mnemotecnic rule from the book also :)

We just need his wing-mate scarf, you know, the one with "climb up here and you'll se Montmartre"
