However, this really needs to happen for other warbirds.

This has been the subject of many threads. The main reasons that have been stated for it not being implemented are that it was not commonly available to squadron pilots, very experienced and/or high ranking pilots being the rare exceptions. Seeing as though many of us have more sim hours in warbirds than most very experienced and high ranking WW2 pilots I think there is still a case for it being implemented. However technically it is not as simple as an Il-2 style slider because of bullet trajectories and ballistic calculations (that I don't understand) so I think it is fine with the current system and I am OK with just adjusting to it. So to answer your question, no I don't believe it is being worked on.
