F-5E Disabling Acquisition Mode

Hello Pilots,

 

This is my first post in the forum and I hope I don't sound too stupid, but here it goes!

 

I've run through the tutorial, read a bunch of guides and such, searched the forum and google. Perhaps I'm searching for the wrong thing.

 

Here is the question... Let's say you hit the acquisition button by mistake... your radar goes into the narrow sweep pattern. How do you get it to return to the original broad sweep?

 

Hopefully that is clear... basically, is there a way to disable acquisition mode?
