Zabuzard Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Soo, I'm unsure if the Rensa button works. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong or thinking it would do things it actually doesn't. I've manually miss-fixed the navigation totally by creating a new waypoint (by Lo/La) and then did an fly-over-fix at my current position. The thing is, I surely was ~100km or more away from the actual position of this point. Then I tried some radar fixes, of course everything kept being totally misaligned. Then I tried clicking the Rensa-button multiple times (first 1-2 times, as the manual says, then more). However the system kept being extremely offset and I didn't find my way back to the airfield without using the F10 map. I thought I could get the system back to a state where I would just have, let's say about 5km offset by clicking this button.
QuiGon Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Just tested removing position fixes with Rensa. In my test it worked fine on pre-defined waypoints as well as on new waypoints (entered by Lo/La). Track attached as proof that it works. RensaClear.trk Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
