Thinder Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Reply from Thrustmaster by Email if that can help: we recommend the following. Delete the TARGET program first, just temporarily. First, make sure when you do the following procedure, make sure the wheel is connected to a 2.0 USB port, not a powered 3.0 USB port Then, we recommend that you update the latest Drivers and Firmware on a PC computer; first the drivers; restart your computer, then the firmware, just click on the link below, navigate to Drivers and download them there: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t16000mfcs-en/ To do so, just click on the link above; navigate to the drivers section, download the driver then restart your computer, then in the search bar of the computer, type in firmware until you see "TM Firmware Update - Desktop App". Click on that and start the firmware update. When you get 3 green checks at the end of the update, you are good to go. Next step you can do is plug it onto a PC and check with the joy.cpl if your unit is faulty or not. To do so, follow the simple instructions below with your device: Access the Control Panel to test it: 1. Simultaneously press the WINDOWS+R keys on your keyboard; 2. Type in the RUN window "joy.cpl"; 3. The name of your product should appear with the status "OK"; Then double click on the name of the device that will appear on the new window. In the Game Controllers Panel verify if each command responds properly to your actions. 4. Click on the Properties button to test your product's hardware functionality. If the joystick is recognized and works fine in the control panel, now you reinstall TARGET. Take a look at the attached pdf which gives you some easy to understand instructions. We cannot help you with scripts but this pdf should give you all the information you need. shu77 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Yeah I had this issue recently, guarantee the issue is Windows Store, you dont need to uninstall it, just stop it from running in the background. To disable apps from running in the background wasting system resources, use these steps: Open Settings. Click on Privacy. Click on Background apps. Under the "Choose which apps can run in the background" section, turn off the toggle switch for the apps you want to restrict.
