Coalition Lists Empty in new mission

Hey all,

 

I've searched quite a bit on this and have not found anything relevant to my issue. If I missed something please let me know.

 

When I start a new mission I have 3 options for coalitions, Custom, Modern, WWII. Unfortunately the Modern list is just Abkhazia on Red and Australia on Blue and WWII is Japan on Red USAF Aggressors on Blue.

 

If I edit the lists and then save them they are saved as Custom for next time i click New Mission.

 

Is it possible to edit the coalition lists outside of the Mission Editor, if so where (notepad++ possibly?). Also, could someone provide the default modern list so that I can re-create it.

I think what you are asking is to have multiple custom presets, which isn't what those are for. The general idea is for those two presets to be a fixed default in addition to the custom option. At present those two presets aren't fully populated yet, but they will be sometime soon. For example the WW2 one would have the countries making up the Axis on red and the Allies on blue.

 

The files for those are located in the following location if you want to modify it. DCS World OpenAlpha\MissionEditor\data\scripts\PresetsCoalitions

 

Like any other file that is part of the install any changes you make will be over-written by the original file for each patch because the files don't match.
