hello again, somethings to ponder:

i have been wondering if Black Shark release will have resolved some of the issues associated with using the triplehead2go and widescreens in general.

using the triplehead2go when gaming is a true delight, you can see some screenshots in my other post on the subject, it gives that extra peripheral view that you miss out on with only a single screen.

3x19" screens wide together with a trackir is pretty sweet,

although not without its issues, some have a work around solution,

some do not, and thats what i hope to address here:

1. the aspect ratio defaulting after altering other graphics options.

i think this is a headache for widescreen users also.

2. the fact you have to zoom out the view to 175, as explained previously by Tekateka the way it 'overdraws' for want of a better word.

where as on the standard zoom 3 screens wide the performance is still excellent, unfortunately its like your head is up against the canopy, as if you were fully zoomed in searching for foe.

when zoomed out 3 screens wide to restore the cockpit view to approximately its original single screen size it cripples the game, the pc really struggles, and apparently this might be fixable... this would be a major plus to get this one sorted as it would allow for increased visual quality and game performance.

TekaTeka, if you see this please refraze question 2 so it makes sense :)

3. the way the view for the trackir is reduced is another item of interest, although this can be easily modified for offline, apparently its different for online use as the values i think are kept in the server.lua (is that right? )

thanks, ggg87.

exspanding on Q1, i think the aspect ratio changing can be worked around by using one of those tweak utilities, locfg i think it may be?

anyone using this could you please confirm or deny.

ps: calling Tekateka, please have a look at Q2, cheers.
